Holiday in Paphos Cyprus

The Hampshire Irons firm and myself are going away to Paphos Cyprus Friday. It was meant to be for a wedding but didn’t work out. (Long story) So we decided to go any way and play a bit of golf, few nights out etc etc.
Has anyone been to Paphos before? Is it a decent night out, good bars and that?

Been a coupla times with the Mrs...I like it. As people have said not really a place for a boys holiday, but got some nice bars and resturants and overall a nice place to relax .Loadsa arrogant Russians obviously! Nicosia is well worth a visit if you fancy crossing the border. Have a good one.

Aphrodite Hills is by far the best course. Book from here for much better deals.
Elea (faldos course) is overrated. Far too new, needs several years to mature and bed in, also most expensive.
Secret Valley is (or was) being redeveloped into a new course so only had 9 holes open.
There is one other which is quite average (minthis or something), worth playing but quite uninspiring.
Basically I would play Aphrodite numerous times rather than playing them all.
If you are anywhere near coral bay then go to yhe Japanese restaraunt and the sunset bar.

Elysiums a very nice hotel. Paphos not really the place for a lads break. Place will probably be awash with ignorant Russians, now Cyprus have agreed to let navy stay!

As mentioned Annabelle hotel is lovely . The harbour hosts a decent drink and walk about , nothing mental tho .

Went in 1993, SO much fanny it was unreal. Or was it Kavos? I fucking can't remember, I was off my nut most of the time, could have been Frinton on a warm week as far as I can remember. But I was young and handsome back then and vaginas always came with a decent amount of fluff.

Not a fan myself. Although I did stay in a very nice hotel whilst I was there "The Annabelle". Didn't think much of the town particularly.
I'm off to Vilamoura in 10 days time for a golf trip. Can't wait.
